Start-to-finish, NAFCO provided turnkey architectural coordination, structural engineering, detailing, fabrication, coating and erection of our corporate headquarters in Birmingham, AL. The steel-framed building features architecturally exposed steel columns, braces and trusses throughout the structure to showcase our business. In depth coordination during connection design and detailing helped support erection completion in less than 5 weeks, in spite of an extremely tight job site. NAFCO self-performed shop application of intumescent fireproofing and multi-coat paint systems to further showcase our capabilities, saving time and money in the field.
