With a history dating back to 1953, NAFCO is a well-established and highly experienced fabricator of structural steel with a keen eye for detail. In fact, we got our start by specializing in structural detailing, expanding our services through the years to include engineering, fabrication, and installation of complex projects around the world.
Those roots in structural detailing continue to make us an invaluable partner to customers, thanks to our rare ability to envision and plan every aspect of a project, as well as to implement it on a turnkey basis. From complex conveyor systems and energy equipment to commercial buildings and military aircraft hangars, we put the mettle in steel fabrication.
Company founder John Parrish was all about commitment. As a young sailor in World War II, he survived the invasions of Normandy, Iwo Jima, and Okinawa. He returned home with a new perspective on life and the goal of building a company that was committed to its employees and long-term customer relationships. We maintain that commitment today by continuously focusing on fairness, integrity, and quality under the leadership of the second and third generations of the Parrish family.

Safety begins with maintaining a healthy workforce. All of our employees receive comprehensive and ongoing safety training appropriate to their responsibilities. Safety also extends to the machinery we operate, like our cutting-edge robotic equipment – unrivaled in the industry—which reduces risk to operators. The emphasis on safety is also evident within our field operations. Our employees, contractors, and clients can all expect the same focus on safety that we enjoy in our manufacturing facilities.
We have been certified with the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) since 2002. We have received the AISC Safety Award of Honor in the Field Erection Category and the Safety Commendation in the Shop & Office Category several times since our certification. In addition, NAFCO is registered with ISNetworld, “a global resource for connecting Hiring Clients with safe and reliable contractors”.
